A little Huineng to start the day.

"Our mind is working correctly when we let go of each moment as it happens."

Huineng. The Sixth Patriarch of Chan Buddhism. Died 713.

T. O. M's comment.

Through letting go of each moment, I am fully involved with the next, constantly moving and flowing.. If something arises externally, I can deal with it without holding fast to anything.. If something happens within my mind, I can let it go and not get stuck there.

I think this is why zen is reffered to as a path. Its a continuous movement, even though we may be doing nothing, Its an endless path without a goal, and to walk the path is enough..

Peace.
