Are there any similarities between ‘the Tao that cannot be spoken’ and Zen literature anywhere? Some of the language used seems identical but I imagine this community would resent such similarities. Assuming that Toaism and Zen are obviously not the same ‘thing,’ is it still fair to say that they both at least overlap and touch on the same ‘thing’?
