Recently there has been some talks that at the high level of Soto Zen there is Mantrayana techniques in place.
This is above the shikantanza of dogen.
In my experience you would see the standard dharani due to keizan at most monasteries and temples or practice centers but I never heard of techniques above dogens just sitting but supposedly in Japan this is a thing.
Anyone have info on this?
