Case 30: This Mind, This Buddha
馬祖、因大梅問、如何是佛。
Mazu was asked by Damei, "What is Buddha?"
祖云、即心是佛。
Zu said: "This Mind is Buddha."
"This Mind is Buddha" shoots straight as an arrow and kills the whole herd...still, on what basis will you assess the marksman?
