The Brahmin Dīghanakha tried to have a debate with the World-Honoured One.
He said to the World-Honoured One: "Let's have a debate. If you can disprove my theory, I'll cut off my own head."
The World-Honoured One said: "What is your theory's underlying premise?"
The Brahmin said: "I don't accept any underlying premise."
The World-Honoured One said: "You accept this view, don't you?"
The Brahmin departed, flapping his sleeves.
