I purchased a copy of the BCR from ubcpress, which is published by BDK english Tripitaka. I bought this one in particular because I prefer hardcover books and it was quite affordable, and it said it was translated into english by Cleary.
I'm kind of confused though, I have a PDF version of the Blue Cliff Record by Cleary published by Shambhala, and the translation is not the same. The name of the cases isn't even the same.
What's up with this, did Cleary translate the BCR twice or is this another translation?
