It says in the title of subreddit "the self-nature is originally complete", but you want to understand something by studying zen and seeking understanding. Why not stop at the title? What kind of understanding would make you stop?

The reason for seeking [understanding] is only because you want to give continuity to your existing beliefs and sense of self which is what you think understands. You want to make a self that understands, yet the self nature is originally complete. So just stop, yet you can't, the flood of seeking [understandings] takes you to one place and will take you to another, without stop. Its the emotional relationships with views that give energy to the flood. If you can make stop to the involvements, the seeking will cease and you will return to no understanding right where you started, but this time you won't seek to understand.
