Does Zen give any consideration to an avoidance on Nihilism?

I know that in other traditions there are certain ethical precepts given and considerations prescribed to combat the nihilism one can easily find themselves in with the recognition of all phenomena being empty.

Does Zen have anything comparable? Do any Zen masters mention anything of the sort?
