The state and purpose of this sub

I have extended my patience enough for today, and am going to retire from this little project for now. The insistence of absolutely everyone within every dialogue I have to project their own egos upon me is simply exhausting. All I’m doing is spreading truth and awareness but everyone seems capable of only a( contextualising my actions egoially and then expending huge amounts of personal effort and frustration to attempt to prove that to be true somehow). I am aware that within ego we have only experienced reality as ego but the amount of people just uselessly creating a fight with me in their own head is clearly overwhelming any positive affect at the moment. Clearly the views/beliefs/way of acting consistently displayed by ewk and his associates has been normalised as acceptable and true within this subreddit. I cannot emphasise any more clearly, that the views he is sharing, the doctrines he’s spreading, the quotations of zen masters or zen related argument, has absolutely nothing to do with what zen is at all. Zen does not have any belief systems or dogmas, nothing to be studied for a whole life time or memorised. Zen does not make claims to devalue the worth of others, does not make untrue claims, does not express personal opinion as fact from another’s mouth. No one can really understand zen loads better than anyone else, as ewk claims, you either know zen or you don’t, or in the case of ewk you invent an entire dogmatic belief system and then express it as zen, and express that as objectively true, and constantly make the assertion than any views other than his own are wrong objectively, and not just that but stupid and worthless. Making people feel lesser than because they don’t know about doctrines he truly made up himself. The way I see it, it’s a group of people purposely trying to stop any real understanding of zen being shared or found on this platform but only spreading complete misinformation and a divisive, self important and othering rhetoric. My only motivation in all of this is a genuine love and care for zen as what I see as the most beautiful thing is the world, as something accessible to everyone, and I think that everyone deserves a platform where they can actually learn about real zen and share their experiences with others free of judgement and in a healthy way conducive for growth, instead of being fed endless delineations of reality as objective and higher truths, and being led further into confusion and away from awakening. It does shock me somewhat to see everyone’s support of the way in which ewk&co treats the people on this subreddit, to see a wide acceptance of it as if it isn’t hurtful. I assume that perhaps many people have gotten their only information about zen from this sub and from ewk, which would explain why people see this as a sensical belief. I would highly recommend watching some videos from Sadhguru,Mooji, Eckhart Tolle, and check out varying recourses/ do independent research on zen and enlightenment beyond this sub. When looking at these, known to be enlightened, beings expressing their views and experience of reality, it is quite clear that ewks views are about as far from the views of enlightenment as can be. There is some evidence for you, make some comparisons between beings who’re known to be realised, and what they’re saying, and the things that ewk is saying. I’d also highly recommend doing some research into these ‘spiritual zen texts’ or all the rules of zen, or all the dogma and ‘evidence’ he talks about independently, because anyone will see it doesn’t exist as an aspect of zen, and is much more similar to the system of say, Scientology. I can’t express clearly enough, just because someone is always saying they know a lot about something, that doesn’t make it in any way true. If anyone is interested in getting to understand zen I would say watching YouTube videos of actual, definitely enlightened people is your best bet, (also meditation and practice, not wrong in zen at all, you need this)and there are lots of them. I’m not judging anyone in this sub, but I would just really like to encourage critical thinking about where we’re getting our information from, whether it’s actually trustworthy, or whether we’ll just sort of believe anything if it’s the only information we’re given, or the only perspective in which we’ve endowed with an status of authority and understanding, and whether we’ve actually made that assumption for good reason or just because of tactics like belittling others, making self-aggrandising claims, using made up evidence to support claims, or making others feel lesser for disagreeing/ not knowing. These things can all very effectively make us believe things that are untrue/misinformation, make us more malleable as we see ourselves as lesser and therefore aspire to be more similar. It’s a way to give zen an image of closed mindedness, doctrinal law, confusion and essentially psychopathy, and encourage others who’re spiritually seeking to halt their progress, get stuck or get drawn into acting in a self aggrandising and othering way. I am not telling anyone what to believe yet again, just sharing my view, I purely just think that everyone has a right to make a well informed decision about whether to trust or believe the things that he says, to have heard the opposing viewpoints etc, and that everyone has the right to have access to education about real zen, in a safe a non judgemental or manipulative environment. But yeah, I feel like I’ve made that as clear as I can for today at least, so that’s that
