Yunmen Wenyan
Someone once asked Master Yunmen, "Since ancient times, the old worthies have transmitted mind by mind. Today I ask you, master: What method do you use?"
The master said, "When there’s a question, there’s an answer."
The questioner continued, "In this case, it isn’t a wasted method."
The master said, "No question, no answer."
Me: a very rude welcome for new member of the facility! So far rude woman on stupid poetry thread, nasty comments from Endor Bear, people telling Bodhisattva to do THIS and to do THAT. Too many mind-heads, not enough supposed zen.
Okay, enough complaining. No question, no answer. Everyone shut up! My teacher, a great, great man, would cover eyes here in shame. Everybody gets off phones and go do work! Rake gravel or something, better than arguing stupidity here. :)
