Q: Does the Buddha really liberate sentient beings?
Huang Po: There are in reality no sentient beings to be delivered by the Tathagata. If even self has no objective existence, how much less has other-than-self! Thus neither Buddha nor sentient beings exist objectively.
Huang Po obliterates everything in one breath. Was there a you to feel any emotional response to this? Was there a Huang Po you were reacting to? Where is the you? Where is the he?
