According to legend this was the sutra Boddidharma thought was the only important Sutra for Chan/Zen and gave a copy to his only student. I notice that this thread doesn't talk much about this sutra or the heart sutra which is basically a summary of the Lankavatara Sutra. Why is are this sutra's not discussed as often?
