Bleh

Everything that is not spontaneous (happening without deliberation) or direct experiencing (shown sometimes through direct pointing) is abstraction.

Thinking in language, thinking about answers, thinking there is a self and a choice, a question and a distinction. Deciding, answering, questioning, speaking and introspecting are all abstractions of reality.

It's like the idea that a computer runs on an operating system, or that application A is different from application B (distinction). These are abstractions of their individual components. One might say: well computers run on assembly language, but that is an abstraction of machine language and that is an abstraction of 1 and 0 and that is an abstraction of logic gates and that is an abstraction of circuits and that is an abstraction of on and off and that is an abstraction and so on...

The fundamental unabstracted is spontaneous. It is not the design we implement to allow electricity to follow a deterministic path, it is the electricity itself. It is not our decision of how to structure and live our lives, it is the life itself; It is "suchness" or the true essence.

The problem with living completely in the abstract without knowing it is that one mistakes abstraction for suchness, believing that good and bad are right and wrong ("suchly"), that one's self is distinct and separate from others.. these misjudgments cause "the sickness of the mind", uneasiness, unnaturalness, unspontaneousness, confusion, dissatisfaction, longing, searching, wanting, questioning, distinguishing...

Yes, I do realize this is all an abstraction.
