Text I can't remember the name of by someone I can't remember - possibly similar to Tao Te Ching?

This sub should have a weekly pinned thread for discussion, like r/streamentry; might help folks battle out zen vs not zen, topics like this one and all that lovely stuff and leave the remaining posts to actual zen discussion, but anyway..

There was this text I came across a few months ago, it's quite a well known fundamental text, but I'm not sure if it's more daoist oriented than zen. I can't remember the name at all now though and just can't seem to find it :(

It can be found for free online, and it's basically a series of verses on Mind, covering topics like not discriminating, being and nonbeing, if there is beautiful there is ugly, if there is good there is evil etc. - it is not written in question answer format, just advice. I thought it might have been the tao te ching since it was written in a similar format, but there was no mention in it of the conduct of rulers so I don't think so.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
