This quote felt inspiring. I got up and put on my sandals, and got out at 1am for a walk around the neighborhood.
I merely enjoyed the sound of the sandals clapping against the sole of my feet as I peacefully roamed a simple neighborhood. Plants erupting from beneath the sidewalk, stars glaring down on me, as if they watched me attentively. In this late night walk I realized one thing. Every single one of my neighbors has a guard dog.
