Why do people who quote Dogen lie about so much on the internet? With examples!

Dogen's followers lie about the facts surrounding Dogen's history:

1. There is no evidence that Dogen studied with Rujing. There is evidence that proves that Rujing did not teach what Dogen claimed, which proves Dogen lied about studying with Rujing.

2. Dogen's FukanZazenGi clearly plagiarized a Buddhist meditation manual written 100 years previously by a Buddhist that Dogen later disavowed, proving that FukanZazenGi was Dogen's invention, and not something learned from Rujing.

Dogen's followers lie about Dogen inventing "practice liberation"

1. There is no record of "practice-enlightenment" being taught before Dogen.

Dogen's followers lie about Zen Masters teaching "practice liberation" and "liberation through practice".

In a recent thread, a Dogen follower claimed that any mention of sitting meditation by a Zen Masters was a reference to Dogen's prayer-meditation, invented 500 years later.

So why do Dogen's followers lie all the time about Dogen's teaching being related to Zen?

1. If Dogen's religion is so awesome, why not promote it on it's own merits? Why lie about history?

2. If Dogen's religion is so awesome, why not openly address the record breaking problem of sex predators in Dogen's church and openly acknowledge that sex predators can't certify enlightenment?

3. If Dogen's religion is so awesome, why doesn't it have it's own forum on Reddit?
