I saw a quote, poem or koan the other day but I can't seem to find it again. It was something to the effect of:
You who know yourself to be nothing (or the void),
To view yourself apart from sinning (or sinfulness),
How can this be?
The gist was that if you truly understand non-self, and/or nirvana/satori, to claim you are only the good parts and not the bad is a fallacy or ignorance. It was more eloquent than that, but if you know the one I mean or a similar one you can share, I'd appreciate it!
