I am wondering if anyone here has compared (or knows of a comparison of) these translations of Huangbo's Chung Ling Record by Blofeld and Lok To?
I have read both, and stylistically they seem quite different (also the interpretation of the original material seems to differ between them in places). Does anyone have any opinion about which is the more accurate translation?
I find Blofeld's a lot easier to read and more direct, but I'm not sure if it's more or less accurate.
