How to become a Zen Master - second round of thinking

Here's first round.

With 'becoming a Zen Master' I mean being one who is called that. 'Bearing the title' so to speak.

The point in my first round of thinking was that the world has to see you as one. Like how we look back at previous Zen Masters and spread their words or recorded behaviour. This keeps their 'footprint' alive and along with that, their 'title'.

Of course there might exist many Zen Masters nowadays we don't know of and who would probably not be accepted/called Zen Masters by many of us.

This makes sense. It does, however, fill my mind with new questions.

Who is the last known Zen Master, and are there disagreements about that?

If he/she doesn't live today, has the chain of Zen Masters ended?

Also, who was the very first Zen Master and how did he come to be called that? Is this known and are there disagreements about this?

Thanks.
