When I first came here my eyes were open, but many other topics where not self clearing to me. My assumption was the lack of shared symbols. Now I see it something subtly different. There are many paths that lead to the same awareness but sometimes it can be difficult to perceive all that have pierced through to it. It has led me to feel it worthwhile to seek back behind the barrier to attempt to understand what it's appearance was from the angle of approach that others entered by. Some may see it a treasure gate with foreboding gatekeeper. Others, a wonder hole they stepped in and saw had no depth boundary.
This brings me to the question. The barrier of not knowing, whether you have passed though or not: What is it's appearance to you?
