I don't mean to add firewood to the divide and polarization in this forum, but let's be honest: The split is there.
My question —for those who dare answer honestly and directly— is:
What texts and/or authors best represent your view of Zen?
It's up to me to do the data analysis of your answers and understand /r/zen population, so please IF POSSIBLE keep it civil and save your conclusions and opinions for later. Thanks!
p.s. Things like the definition of Zen, which one is the "real Zen", what lineage is more legitimate, etc. are out of scope here. I don't care about who is a sex predator, who is an asshole, etc. — ALSO: I know, I know, both groups might hate this topic because it kind of "gives entity" to the opposite group. I know. To you people: Go drink some tea.
