I'm not asking if it's impolite. I'm asking if to accept the texts you have to accept all the texts. I know in the Mumakon it is suggested to find out for yourself. However, I am asking the community. Have you ever straight up disagreed with something a zen master has said? And, how did it affect your approach to the rest of the teachings?
