The monk said But I have no views on emptiness.
The master said Well done.
A monk once asked Is there a teaching that has been taught by no master?
The master said Yes. It is not words. It is not Zen. It is not anything.
A monk once asked What about when I have nothing?
The master said In that case, throw it away.
