This question was raised by a friend of mine, because when i told her zen enthusiasts generally use black clothes she wondered why it would be so. My opinion is based on the scientific take, black things tend to absorb all energies, so by using black clothes you in some way absorb others people judgements. Now i dont know why it is judgement per se, it can be peoples reaction or whatever. I got this by going all black the other day, and the experience was rather interesting, i dont know if i was more aware just because of natural learning, or people just started looking at me rather weird. This also reminds me that widows also wear all black and they do that to make a statment, for people to know they are in a different mental state?, they are mourning. What yall think?
