They must have talked about it to each other. Especially since a good number of these stories had as the only witness the monk him/herself
When is it common for zen masters to talk about their own enlightenment moments? Not the concept but the specific. Are there any cases you guys know of where a zen master tells another about “oh yeah man, I was just sitting there and bla bla bla”, a Master telling the monks of his monastery, or something of that sort?
