Some users here have a problem when they see ewk saying 'not zen'. But what does that mean? Is he using a negation or apophatic technique? Is he being 'anti'? Is he being 'rude'? Well, what he's telling you is usually that you haven't looked past that. Meditation, practices, methods, etc. it's basically telling to look past that. Ties up with reference to 'the gateless gate'.
Of course, this post is not zen.
