The Zen we often find on this sub is Zen from various translations. It certainly has an appeal and seems sagely enough. But the Zen we personally practice has little if any connection with traditional Zen Buddhism—it is our loose interpretation in other words. Still, even Zen masters were guilty of handing out dog meat, their temples being little more than 狗肉店 (dog meat shops). Sheep's head Zen we cannot even dream of. It doesn't live in the anatomical body; nor can we find it in the thoughts and concepts we raise in front of our mind's eye. What do we do? My teacher told me never to reveal it. Words are only more barriers 開 that prevent us from going through the no-gate 無門.
