First, in one sentence try to describe what you think (or don't?) is the ineffable, true nature of zen. Then meditate for 5 minutes and describe it in a better sentence (labeled 1, 2, etc). Keep going as long as you want and mention how many total minutes you've meditated for each new sentence. I know it's impossible to put in words, but that's what makes this interesting. I want to see what words you use to come the closest.
Alternative: Make an observation about the world around you instead of describing zen.
I'll start.
-
0 minutes. "Pure experience. Oneness with the Universe; a merging between the observer and the observed."
-
5 minutes. "Life in high definition. I notice the details more."
And so on.
