I get it, Mr. Wisdom, Mr. Awake. You give laughable answers to genuine questions with the obvious implication (or explicitly stated) that: words are a hindrance to the Path and language does not suffice and yadda yadda. Understandably, language is a hindrance to explaining reality. Further, wisdom cannot be transferred merely through words; BUT, words are incredibly helpful, it is what distinguishes us from animals, sophisticated speech and language. So it's annoying when you tell others to get off this sub or read the 4 statements on the side, and that you are wasting your time. Listen, people are suffering badly and want to be released from this sufferable existence so they seek the zen way. But when they do on here, they are told that this way through language and through reading books is all BS because words are insufficient and one must leave all this behind. And then what? Go back to continuing to live life the way they are living? Truly, those who seek are on the wrong path, since the path is unseekable, or whatever. But, is it better to just continue living life the way we are currently living? Guidance is needed in these matters; so masters or awakened sages or whatever can POINT US THE RIGHT DIRECTION. That does not mean that when one asks for help you merely say "well, you first off, get off the subreddit." or "the path cannot be explained in words" what is this? Even saying, the path cannot be used in words stil leads in an infinite amount of directions, some of which are probably in complete opposite path to that one of the Path. So, we definitely need words, because without them we are helpless, especially considering the fact that many of us are physically seperated from Zen masters, and so without words how else are we to...
