exactly what it says on the tin. Are you guys all disaffected atheists who decided atheism stopped being edgy now that it's more mainstream? Or are you just the natural culmination of 19th century white orientalists who thought they inherently knew more about the cultures and religions of non white peoples than those very same peoples?
Or perhaps it's both? What else could account for both 1. the widespread disdain of anything imputed as religious, ceremonial, or superstitious and 2. the extreme superiority complex which leads many of you to believe you are better arbiters of what Zen and Buddhism are than billions of Asian people?
