QUESTION 1 I find the whole concept of rejection foreign to Zen masters. Yuanwu says "for them there was never any grasping or rejecting." If you think they're doing something or other, it's probably just you.
Question 2 essence of zen.... Hmmmm. Probably nothing.
Question 3 I have no advice as I am undisciplined for the most part. Tides go in and out though so just remember its all temporary I guess would be my advice! :)
