I am cue-less. Joshu never mentioned cues or practicing gongfu, neither did Huangbo. Holding cues confuses me. How to pick and how to hold them? The character wu or how come? or peg of dried shit . . . does the cue have a place in Zen? I am just a lone redneck studying Zen down in Texas. If there be a Master reading this, please assist me. As for the other students, feel free to pile on with help, advice. . . scorn.
