Does anyone have any idea what tostono is talking about?

/u/tostono has a habit of dismissing comments by saying that they are "causal" or "have cause and effect in them".

I asked him what he means by this and his explanation was "causality is an illusion".

I asked for clarification and he referred to this OP ("Zen Masters on Cause and Effect").

That post is an enumeration of quotes from various masters, none of which say that causality is an illusion. There's no further commentary or explanation of how the quotes hang together or what point is being made.

My question is, does anyone understand this stuff, or is it as nonsensical and crazy seeming to you as it is to me?
