Do what you can now, but improve.

While looking at the website for the Zen Mountain Monastery in New York, they had some basic guidelines to meditation.

Yes, you can do meditation in a chair or on a bench, but if you don't actively work towards Siddhasana, you are missing out on a great deal indeed.
